Cenergi SEA Berhad (Cenergi) is a sustainable energy solutions company specialising in emissions through development of and investments in Renewable Energy projects specifically biogas, biomass, solar and small hydro plants.

Biogas

Our biogas power plants avoid the release of methane and help to reduce carbon emissions and provide renewable energy.

Biomass

Our plants produce biomass fuel from by-products of the palm oil production process, producing a sustainable energy source whilst reducing carbon emissions.

Solar

Cenergi offers end-to-end solar energy solutions with advanced technology for clients, to minimise environmental effect and reduce utility costs.

Small Hydro

Cenergi is also investing in small hydropower projects using the run-of-river concept. Small hydropower plays a key role in long-term decarbonization scenarios, contributing to reaching renewable energy targets set in the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR).

NUR Power, Malaysia’s first Independent Power Utility company, specialises in the generation, transmission, distribution, and retail of electricity in the country. The company has been granted exclusive rights to sell electricity in Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP).

As global demand for green energy increases, opportunities to invest in renewable energy increases as well. As part of NUR Power’s initiatives towards ESG compliance and to ensure continuous supply of quality as well as reliable power to its customers, NUR Power plans to develop a 100MW solar plant and is exploring opportunities in digital technology, by strategically optimising its fibre optic network assets.

Creating sustainable alliances together today, for tomorrow

UEM Lestra, in collaboration with partners HEXA Renewables, Blueleaf Energy and ITRAMAS, have penned a pivotal partnership.

Together, we are embarking on an initiative to develop a 1GW hybrid solar power plant and a RE industrial park. This flagship venture is in line with the strategic and high-value national flagship energy transition projects under Malaysia’s National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR).

40-acre strategic RE Industrial Park taking shape in Johor

ITRAMAS Corp, China Machinery Engineering Corp (CMEC), and UEM Sunrise are developing a strategic RE industrial park to attract Chinese manufacturers and suppliers across the renewable energy and electric vehicle (EV) value chains, as well as high-tech research firms.

The park is part of the one-gigawatt hybrid solar power plant project led by UEM Sunrise's majority shareholder UEM Group Bhd, through its Green Industries subsidiary, UEM Lestra.
